This is a used Countax C800H ride on lawnmower with dial-a-height electric deck lift which raises and lowers the cutting deck at a touch of a button. The mower comes with a Countax IBS 48inch rear discharge cutting deck and a Countax powered grass sweeper with collector. This is the top of the range and with the extras included cost over £5,400 new and has only done 168 hours from new. The mower has the Honda 20hp engine and loads of features which make mowing the lawn quick, simple and a pleasure. The mower has just had the engine serviced and blades sharpened and everything works as it should. It starts first time and runs and cuts great. Countax (Westwood) were the first ride on lawnmowers to use powered grass collectors which made them unique as they were the only mowers on the market that could cut and collect the grass when it is wet. This feature gives them a distinct advantage over other mowers that simply cut and then hoover up the grass as they only work on dry grass. So this means you can cut in the rain or first thing in the morning. In addition, the powered grass collector can also just be used to sweep up debris (with the cutting deck switched off) which is ideal during the autumn and winter months for clearing leaves and litter etc. With the 20HP Honda V-Twin engine which is probably the best there is for power, low noise and reliability. This makes the mower even more versatile as it can be used as a tractor to tow trailers, sprayers or even push a snow blade/ménage leveller. There are a whole load of Countax attachments that will fit this model in addition to many other attachments offered by other companies. The C800H comes with Hydrostatic drive which is so simple to use anyone can start to use it straight away. The Hydrostatic drive is much simpler and smoother to use than gears and means you can increase or decrease the speed as you move along, rather than having to stop to change up or down gear. It also allows you to switch smoothly between forward and reverse by simply moving the lever forward or backwards which makes working in tight areas around flower beds or on banks easy and safe. Other features include dial-a-height deck adjustment which allows you to raise and lower the cutting deck via a control knob on the dashboard and has 10 height settings with LED display so you can easily set the height the deck height with your usual setting. The powered grass collector works from the mower PTO drive (Power Take Off) which is similar in principal to farm tractors and allows other attachments to be fitted which can also be powered in the same way such as the Countax Chipper or Scarifier (NOT included). Lastly, it also has an electric clutch to turn on the cutting deck which has safety switches in place and can only be set to run it these are in place. The mower has scuffs and scratches from use and some small areas where paint has flaked off on the mower but mainly the sweeper. The engine starts first time it does a great job of cutting the lawn.
