|
Hayter HarrierSelf Propelled, Electric Start, Rear rollerBriggs Stratton engineReliable and it cuts grass! This is the description I nicked from someone else, but it seems to descibe ours.A rear-driven, self-propelled lawn mower, the Hayter Harrier 48 Push Mower comes fitted with a 190cc Briggs and Stratton 650 Series engine. Its self-propelling system is adjustable, meaning the Hayter Harrier 48 Push Mower can move itself forward at speeds between 1.5 and 3 mph, depending on the user’s preference. Measuring at 19.9 x 59.4 x 42.5-inch, this Hayter mower can fit into a tightly packed area with relative ease. When storing this self-propelled lawn mower for an extended period of time, the handle breaks down into two pieces, taking up less space. With an overall cutting width of 18.9-inches, the Hayter Harrier 48 Push Mower focuses more on agility and ease of use than cutting large areas in little time. Furthermore, on the side of this feature-packed tool is a counterbalanced lever that allows the user to adjust its cutting height to any of the seven adjustments between 0.51-inches and 2.36-inches. This Hayter mower also comes with an 18-gallon-capacity grass bag on its rear, which the user can remove to allow grass to discharge. With its compact size and well-known engine supplier, the Hayter Harrier 48 Mower is the right option for those with a smaller yard or for someone who is looking for a mower designed for hard-to-reach areas.Itsd a darn good mower but tired, it needs a new battery, we have been starting it by hand and the rear box is good but it has some holes in it dues to age. The rear cover needs some attention as does the up and down adjustment. We have used it on low for ages. It does propel forward (better than the new one we bought) and when the new one wouldnt start I used this one to cut the grass so I know it is working OK. Tyhe paint is blown and the metal eating moth has had a go b ut it moves froweard, cuts grass and collects it. It just needs some TLC which is why we are selling it now, you will ahve all winter to do as you wish before spring rears its wet hed again next year.Collection only, no I will not accept offers or post it.
