Hayter Harrier 48 Petrol Lawnmower With Roller And Powerdrive Self Propelled

Welcome to this auction for my petrol Hayter Harrier 48. It’s not a very pretty sight but what an awesome mower, starts on the first pull, cuts beautifully and leaves a very professional looking striped lawn. The mower has just been serviced including new spark plug, engine oil, carb strip down and clean out, a thorough pressure wash and the blade sharpened. In short, it’s a perfectly working mower but looks a mess because the paint is flaking off and the grass bag has one or two tears in it which have been repaired. There are also a few chunks missing underneath as seen in the photos but these don’t seem to affect the performance at all. The throttle knob seems to have taken a walk but they are available on ebay for about £8 it’s never bothered me so I haven’t bothered to replace it. The power drive function works well and takes the effort out of chore of cutting grass, the grass bag seems to have a massive capacity, it goes for ever without being emptied. If you’re not worried about looks but need a sound reliable mower, this is for you, you are welcome to come and try before you buy if you wish. Obviously this is collection only due to size and weight but I can deliver locally if you get stuck for transport.No reserve, it needs to go.
