John Deere 355d Ride On Mower Spares Or Repair

Hi. I have for sale my 2005 john deere GX355d. Im listing it as spares or repair as it has an engine fault. The machine had only covered around 550 hours when it developed an engine knock. Upon removing the sump it has been determined that It needs a crankshaft repair where one of the big end bearings has failed and damaged the crank bearing journal. I bought it like this and have spent a long time looking out for a replacement crankshaft which I have sourced and am including in the sale. I believe that the engine just needs rebuilding with the replacement crank and it will all be good to go. All parts are included, apart from there is no battery. It is fitted with a 48 cutting deck that has a mulching insert fitted. The deck belt is removed as one of the pulleys needs a new bearing. Once rebuilt this machine is worth well over the two grand mark but I have decided to sell it for a lot less as I have just taken on too many projects and am moving house at the moment so I could do with some extra money and time that I don t have to spend rebuilding mower engines or moving projects around with me! All aspects of this machine are in good used condition with signs of wear and tear as can be expected from 550 hours of use (with the exception of the engine issue) Very importantly It is fitted with a Diff Lock to avoid getting stuck!
