John Deere Lx178 Ride On Mower Garden Tractor

Hi there, this auction is for our tatty but brilliant John Deere LX178 hydrostatic garden tractor. Yes she is tatty around the edges (ripped seat and broken bonnet) but mechanically she s A1 . Under the bonnet is a sweet 15 horse water cooled Kawasaki V twin which is a fantastic engine . It has hydrostatic drive which is just so simple to use there are no gears just forward and reverse pedals and it works flawlessly . It comes with full grass collecting package and all works as it should . Now the reason I have come the the decision to sell her is the cutting deck has holes in it and is rotten although it still all works in my opinion its just not safe to use to cut our lawn any more, I m sure someone who can fabricate steel could make a new deck and use all the pulleys and equipment which are all fine or just modify another deck to fit.
