John Deere X300r Ride On Mower – 42” Deck & Collector – Lawnmower Tractor

John Deere X300r ride on mower with 42 deck and 300 litre collector.Mower is hydrostatic drive (one pedal forwards, one for reverse) and has a Kawasaki engine.We have had the mower from new and it has done just 638 hours.The collector is filled by the turbostar fan system and the collector is emptied by pulling a handle from the seat. Mower is in generally good condition although is used and does have normal scuff marks etc. that that you would expect on a used machine, all shown in photos:- The plastic trim on the collector has broken on both sides. This has been glued and duct taped on - makes no difference to the operation of the machine just cosmetic.The seat has some rips in the seat covering.The collector full sensor does not work and has been disconnected - however when you have used it for a bit you can tell when its full as the fan starts to sound different.Good points - the mower has had all new belts this year (including the main drive belt). New blades at beginning of season. New plugs, fuel filter and oil changed at beginning of season. Been a good machine for us, only reason for changing is we have gone for one with an electrically operated collector as I have a bad back and new one has an out front deck so we can get round trees etc a bit better.
