Mountfield 11. Murray 9-4169. Ride-on Tractor Mower. 1977/78.

Mountfield 11 ride-on tractor mower. It is in fact a re-badged Murray 9-4169 - the Murray name is showing through on the bonnet decals. The Briggs Stratton engine numbers are: Model 252707, Type 0132-01, Code 7711301. These numbers indicate, amongst other things, that it is a 25 cu.in engine and that it was built in November 1977. This suggests the most likely age for the mower is 1978. It was last used in 2001 (still running at that point) and has lain idle under a tree since then. It was well used in the past and has clearly had some modifications and repairs. I have not tried starting it - it seems unlikely that it would start without some work to it. I had to pump up the left front tyre (goes flat), the others are fine. The two front wheels are different widths - tyres on both show signs of perishing. The seat is bit of a mess - it was used with a cover but this has now gone. It is clearly quite rusty in places. I have listed it as for parts or not working as I have no idea whether everything works or not. If required, I will provide assistance in moving and loading.
