Mountfield 460 PD Self-Propelled Petrol Lawn Mower - spares or REPAIR With Briggs Stratton 10D902 engine. 18 (46cm) blade. 6 different height settings. Some paint flaking off lower body, but very solid, no holes or bad rust. Grass box folds flat. Basically it stopped working, I bought and fitted new priming bulb, carb gasket and spark plug. But it still wont start. Good spark, good compression. It DOES start and run (briefly) with a squirt of Starter Spray, so there s no fundamental problem with the engine. I suspect I ve done something wrong in re-assembling the carb. So probably an easy fix for someone who knows these kind of engines. For me, I just bought a new mower :-) Also, the self-propelled feature stopped working, I think it was just because the cable became disconnected or drive belt slipped off, but I was happily using it as a push-along. Again, may be an easy fix. But because of these issues, it has to be sold as SPARES OR REPAIR. Collection from BS41, just off A38 out towards Bristol airport.
