The front skid plate improves grass collection and reduces scalping. You can choose to collect the grass clippings in the large 60 litre collector or just insert the mulching plug that is included to finely cut the grass clippings into a nitrogen rich mulch which is then recycled back into the lawn as a natural fertiliser.
