Mountfield Simplicity Ride On Lawnmower, Lawn Tractor. 12hp. Vintage.

Up for auction is my trusty old mountfield mower. I have had it for around 10 years but I have recently upgraded to a mower with grass collection. Good points... Solid and sturdy construction. Twin cut deck. 12hp briggs Stratton engine. Rebuilt carburettor  New  genuine head gasket, valve and collet. Starts and runs well. Deck recently welded and painted. New blade belt. Cuts and drives. Bad points.... No grass collection. Brush painted bodywork. Battery may need replacing? (my charger has broken, it starts fine off a jump and is charging so may be fine?) Slow puncture on rear tyre. Slow tick over is too fast. New belt slightly too big (could do with one about 10-15mm shorter as blades don t run as fast as they could do) Tears in seat. All in all it is and has been a fantastic mower and will continue to be for many more years in the right hands and will be missed. I have tried other ride on mowers that are nowhere near as tough as this mower and have failed to cope with my bumpy lawn (more like a paddock). Cash on collection or paypal is fine.
