Mountfield Sp470 Self Propelled Petrol Mulching Lawn Mower + Grassbox + Ale

Mountfield SP470 Lawn Mower complete with mulching plug and Grass collection box. It has been recently serviced. The cutting bladeis 17inch and has been sharpened and balanced, a new spark plug fitted and theair filter has been cleaned. The carburettor has been refurbished being fittedwith a genuine Briggs and Stratton diaphragm and gasket. In a nutshell it doesexactly what it should, starts, drives and cuts grass. This model is fittedwith a drive system so there is no strenuous pushing it just pulls itself alongwithout effort. This particular Mountfield is fitted with a mulching plug to enable the cut grass to be“mulched”. Mulching consists of grass clippings from the mowed turf grass beingcut into fine pieces that fall easily onto the soil surface. There, they can berapidly broken down by the soil microorganisms, which release nutrients fromthe mulched plant material back to the soil. A major advantage of this systemis that there is no grass cuttings to pick up and dispose of, however for the traditionalist a grass collection box is provided to enable the grass cuttings to be disposed of in the normal way.
