Mtd Lawnflite J 136 Ride On Lawn Mower

30 ride-on, 14.5 HP Briggs and Stratton engine, last service June 2012 (new battery and belts). Light domestic use only, basket professionally repaired, engine runs well. Starter motor intermittently problematic, sometimes starts first time, other times may take a dozen attempts, probable solenoid or complete starter motor replacement needed. Drive belt not engaging, large tension spring has fallen off, as I don t see how to re-connect it this needs fixing by a garden machinery repairer. Mower was in use up until the spring came off 2 days ago, we have purchased a small petrol mower rather than repairing this ride-on as it s a bit overkill for our garden.
