Qualcast Suffolk Punch 30s Electric Self Propelled Cylinder Lawnmower. Condition is used. This is my wife’s Grandad’s mower, a former groundsman who valued good tools and looked after them! All funds from the sale will go towards his care. Cylinder blades and fixed blades appear to be sharpened and the mower cuts well. I’ve cut our lawn with this mower as per the photos, any issues I would guess are my ability not the mower as I’m used to a petrol rotary mower. I’d also guess you need a pretty flat and well kept lawn to use this type of mower. That said it gives a nice cut and stripe due to the roller. This looks to be an older version of this mower than others on eBay, suspect it may be UK made as it has Suffolk, England on the cover which the more modern ones don’t. It’s a solid and well made piece of equipment that I’m sure will give many more years service in the right hands. It’s too small for our lawn otherwise I’d be tempted to keep it. I’ve replaced the black switch lever with a brand new one as it had broken - looks like a weak part of what is otherwise very robust design as we’ve got a matching scarifier with the same lever that has broken in the same place. Collection only, it’s too heavy to box up.
