Suffolk Colt Petrol Self-propelled Cylinder Lawnmower With Roller – Refurbished

Classic (circa 1970 s) Suffolk Colt lawnmower Petrol powered and self propelled with heavy steel rear roller for that perfectly striped lawn you always wanted! This iconic mower has chopped and striped lawns for forty years and is still going strong. I bought it from a friend around 4 years ago and at that time stripped, sanded and repainted it completely. The cylinder was professionally sharpened, the old points were bypassed by an electronic timing control module and several parts were replaced for new (fuel tap, exhaust box, handlebar grips, spark plug etc.). The only part that s looking its age is the grass hopper, which I didn t get round to painting, but it s original and works as intended. It starts easily and works perfectly. It had an oil change this spring, so is all ready to go to a new home. I ll be sad to see it go, but I no longer have a lawn big enough to justify a petrol mower and I d like to free up some space in the shed.
