www.jungle-busters.co.uk The Home of Quality Garden Machinery Here we have a used MTD Lawnflite RH115 Lawn Tractor.This machine has been Part Ex d in to us against a new machine and is being auctioned in exactly the same condition as it has came into us...... and at a bargain price! We have never worked on this machine before, so it is a Sold As Seen auction. Please feel free to come and view it prior to purchase but our workshop staff have given the following details for you to estimate its value in its current condition......The machine is in a very nice overall condition for its age, however it does have a few issues. The first being that the grass catcher is rather mangled!!! The previous owner reversed her car into it in the garage bending the tubular framework slightly. The fabric has also worn away (or the mice have been at it) in the two bottom rear corners, so this would need repairing with some sacking, a bit of string and a bodkin or go the whole hog and replace it.The engine starts and runs very well without any knocks, bangs, leaks or smoke. The oil is quite dirty so the engine could probably do with a service (new oil, filters, spark plug etc). The engine starts easily from the key and the battery is very new, however it is not the correct battery for the machine and does not sit properly in the battery compartment.The transmission is in full working order and it drives forwards and backwards exactly as it should with a fully operational transmatic variable speed control (all speeds working fine). The cutter blades engage and disengage as they should without any problems. The Cutter Housing is in very good condition with no real signs of any rust at all but the Fan Cover underneath is slighly corroded and will need replacing in the near future as it could catch the blade if it gets any worse.Seat and tyres all in good condition with no splits, rips or tears. All tyres seem to hold pressure well and have plenty tread left.---------------------------------------------------------All in all quite a tidy little machine with a Grass Catcher issue that we do not have time to repair. The machine can be put to work as it is, but ideally this would suit someone with small amount of mechanical knowledge and a little bit of free time. This is a Part-Ex Clearance Machine- it is Sold As Seen with no warranty given or implied.
