Westwood (countax)tractors T 1600 Lawn Tractor, Mower, Ride On, Sweeper

Up for sale here is a Westwood T1600 ride on mower. It has a 16HP twin cylinder petrol engine, very powerful and smooth. There is a hydrostatic transmission which is again very smooth. The mower is run off an electric clutch, so just push a button to turn on an off. The sweeper on the back is driven off the rear PTO. It comes with a 38 rear discharge deck. I do also have a unused 36 high grass deck for it that will be offered to the buyer at additional cost. Anyone familiar with the Countax and Westwood tractors will know that the cut they leave is second to none. With the sweeper you can leave impressive stripes on your lawn. I have put a picture of my lawn as cut with a westwood. The lawn itself is poor, but the mower makes it look good! But by far the best thing about the sweeper is that you can collect when the grass is wet! No more unclogging mowers when the grass is damp! The tractor was bought brand new I think 3 years ago for use on an elderly ladies property. Unfortunately she recently passed away and the property has been sold, hence the mower is up for sale. It cut about 1/3 acre of lawn every other week, so has not seen much work atall. It has been serviced every year and any problems rectified immediately. The pictures show the mower exactly as it is, I took them a moment ago. I havent cleaned it atall yet (I will do when I get the chance). Everything works as it should, there are no mahjor faults. I have listed a few minor points lower down. Starts on the key every time, runs perfectly. This is a very underused mower. All the belts are perfect. There are a few minor points that should be noted -there is some scuffing of the paint on the edges of the mower deck where it has been used up to trees etc -some of the paint on top of the mower deck and on the sweeper is flaking off. It has been touched up so it hasnt started rusting. -the electric box has broken off its mounting under the dash. makes no difference to the performance so we havent sorted it. I can do so if the purchaser would like. New, this mower would be I believe about £4500 so this is definitely an end of season bargain. This mower is sold as seen, so you are welcome to come and look and have a drive (if it isnt pouring with rain!). I think I have described it fairly, and as it seen so little use there shouldnt be anything unexpected!
