Westwood H1200 Lawnmaster Ride On Mower Garden Tractor Lpg

Now……..I really don’t want to be selling this but, we’re moving house and the next garden isn’t big enough to justify a ride on. I’ve owned this mower for 6 years now, I’ve no idea how old it is but it’s been the most reliable mower I’ve ever had. I’ll make it clear now that it is currently running on LPG, but I am planning on using the LPG kit on another project so it will be sold without the LPG set up and running on petrol as original. The winning bidder is welcome to buy it complete with the LPG kit if they are willing to pay an extra £150 which is roughly what a new kit will cost me. This is unbelievably economical on LPG, in the 6 years that I have owned this, it’s still only on its 3rd bottle !!! that works out at about £12 per year, OK so my garden isn’t massive but it’s too big for a push mower. There is a collector which will come with the mower, I’ve never used it so I can’t guarantee that it works but I’m sure it would with a bit of TLC. This has the excellent Honda engine fitted which is the GXV340 which I believe to be 11 HP, it has electric and pull start, all working well, and the gearbox is faultless and recent battery fitted. The cutting deck had major surgery 2 years ago with a new edge piece being welded in, blades sharpened and new bearings fitted, it’s still cutting well and bearings are quiet, I’m not sure what the cutting width is but it has 2 blades. Bad bits? the seat is going the way they all do, the plastic is starting to split, the gear lever seems to move quite a bit between one gear and the next, I think this is just the linkage, the bonnet catch doesn’t seem to be too effective so there’s a bungee strap holding it down, the throttle lever knob is missing, one of the front tyres has a very slow puncture, it stays up for the season but its flat by the next one and the front lights have never worked, none of these affect the performance in any way and they haven’t got any worse in 6 years. So there you go, now you know all there is to know about it, I really will be sorry to see it go but needs must. Collection from Salisbury, possible local delivery, please ask.
