Westwood Tractor S1300h Ride On Mower

|
Here for auction is my Westwood S1300H Lawn Tractor with powered grass/leaf sweeper, roller and collector. It s ideal for cutting the larger lawn and leaving classic stripes. It is also great for hovering up the leaves in Autumn. It has a 12.5hp Briggs and Stratton petrol engine, with electric starter and starts up straight away. This model has an easy to use Hydrostatic Gearbox, with one forward and and one reverse gear simply operated by a lever on the left hand side. The cutting deck is 38inches wide and can be adjusted from the seat of the tractor to the preferred height. The powered grass collector can also be emptied from the seat. The Good Stuff. I ve had the Tractor since 2010. When I bought it, I had it proffessionally serviced and had a new battery, main drive belt, powered sweeper belt, 3 cutting blades and bearings fitted. I have changed the oil and air filter at the start of each season. The cutting deck is in great shape. I removed the surface rust from the underside and painted it with rust inhibitor when I first got it and there is no sign of rust coming through the seams like you see on some offered for sale on eBay and it s garaged all year round. I sharpened the blades this summer. The tyres are in good shape with plenty of tread left and no slow puntures. The tractor has worked very well since I have had it with only minor mechanical adjustments. I am selling as I am moving to a house with a much smaller lawn, making this redundant. The not so Good Stuff. I make mention of the following for the sake of completeness. There is nothing wrong with the tractor which would effect it s performance. They are superficial and cosmetic in the main. It s got the normal scratches on the cutter deck and dents on the grass collector you would expect for a well used machine of this type. There a couple of very minor holes in the grass collector netting. A few of the plastic sweeper bristles are broken. The seat has been repaired with tape at some stage. The rubber on the brake pedal has split and been repaired with glue and tape. The tractor bonnet has been repaired a some stage near where it hinges on both sides. A small weld and pop rivets have been applied (see photo). I use a length of string to stop the bonnet dropping too far when opening it and putting pressure on these joints. This has caused no difficulty for me while I have had the tractor. Cash on collection preferred. Good luck bidding. Collection by 7 days from the auction. Please don t bid if you cannot collect by then.
