Hayter Harrier 48 Push Mower

|
This fantastic workhorse has served me well over the years. I ve owned it from new but sadly it s time for it to go. This rotary mower has an aluminium deck and 4-stroke Briggs Stratton engine, which generally starts first or second pull every time. It is getting on in life, but still cuts well with its relatively new blade and rear roller for a nice striped finish. A few minor observations:some years ago a mouse in the shed decided to have a nibble at the collection basket but this has been patched and it still works fine (see photo)the paint is peeling/chipped in a few places, but it s aluminium so no rustthere is a small piece of the under-deck broken away, but it still collects the grass perfectlythe belt pulley in the engine drive has split so it has no self-propulsion at present. This could be either welded or replaced relatively simply. Once done, it is a good, self-drive machine.
