The mower has been in our family for over 10 yrs, and is only being sold as surplus to requirements. The mower starts and run fine, however the battery has seen better days so you have to jump start it. 12hp Briggs and stratton engine with 5 gears and reverse. The blades work and spin as they should, and the mower has done a great job of the field we own every year. The mower does have a few bad points as listed below. Bad points: Collection boxes and pipework are missing Plastic cover for the blades needs reattaching. Front tyres hold air for a day only when inflated Rip in seat Steering doesnt work. I have been informed that it is most likely the cog on the bottom of the steering column that has worn out and will need replacing. Should be around £25 from a lawnmower spares shop.
