John Deere Lt155 Ride On Mower

Selling my beloved John Deere lawn tractor and trailer as I have no use for it anymore. It has not been used for about four years and I was going to sell it last year so had three new tyres fitted and two new tyres on the trailer. Then put it back under cover and never got round to selling it - however, now it really must go. I think I bought this in 1997 and it was brand new and has given me many hours of fun and productive cutting! There is quite a bit of rust as can be seen on the photos (through storing it) and the only tyre I didn t replace is now flat. The mower does not start although it ran perfectly well when I was going to sell it last year so probably needs a new spark plug. The cutting deck works fine and the mower comes with the blower and two collection bags. It is fitted with lights and whilst one works I think the glass in both is broken. Also the ignition continues when you turn the mower over even though the key is switched off and you need to hit it on the side to stop it. Finally, although the bonnet sits perfectly well on the machine the two catches are broken. I am selling this as a non runner for spares or repair but in reality this could be a great machine for someone who wants to take a bit of time to clean the rust off etc. It works perfectly when running (or at least it did the last time I used it). Parts are readily available on ebay or it could even be taken to Arun Mowers for an overhaul (Arun Mowers are a local John Deere garage). The mower comes with the side addition that scoops the grass into the bag blower and a special John Deere cover made for this particular model.
