Mountfield 480r Push Reel

A very nice mower. This is probably the best mower I have had so far. It has the big powerful Quanum engine, a heavy roller at the rear, it is self propelled with 4 different speeds and the height is adjusted through eight pre set settings from one control lever. It has everything you would want except electric start. I found the engine quiet and powerful, the drive was responsive and comfortable through the 4 settings. The speeds were useful for me, as I have a garden with various gradients. It handled the steeper gradients beautifully. The grass box is a good size and the powerful engine pushes the grass into the bag compacting it to allow less stops to empty. I will find it difficult to sell this mower, as I really enjoyed using it. It made mowing my 1/3 acre a really enjoyable experience. And of course the visual impact is stunning with the stripes from a heavy rear roller.
