An 18 self propelled, electric start, Mountfield Empress Lawn Mower. In excellent condition and ready for Spring.Grab a bargain now whilst this one is available. The Mountfield Empress range were top quality mowers and built to last. To replace today, I guess the equivalent electric start models will be around £500. Suitable for small to medium sized gardens, the 18 cut is a good compromise between weight and size and allows for easy handling. I ve given the mower a good clean and service, including new engine oil, cleaned air filter and fitted a new starter battery.She starts well and runs really smoothly. 18 rotary cut.Self propelled. No need to push!Rear roller for that professional striped lawn finish.7 height settings adjustable by a single lever.Variable speed operator controlled throttle. 4 stroke 4HP Briggs Stratton Quantum engine with manual and electric start. Uses regular unleaded petrol.Can be used without the grass collector.Spare key.This is a used mower so there are some scratches and flaking paint to the front and side of the deck, and a very small hole in the base of the grass collector. (See photos).But none of these affect the working and are minor points.The deck is made from alloy and is in perfect condition with no dents or cracks. Due to the size/weight, the mower is collection only, or I can deliver for free within a 10 mile radius of Skipton, North Yorkshire.
