Main Features: Electric key startCombined clutch/brake pedal, Cutting-deck height adjustmentPowered brush grass collector with roller and height adjustment (belt driven from the engine)Briggs and Stratton 12.5 HP unleaded petrol engineDetails: We used to use this each week through Spring and Summer, but in Summer 2011 the gearbox failed and it was out of service whilst we ordered a new one. In August 2011 we bought a genuine peerless gearbox at a cost of £389. This was fitted the following Spring (2012). It has only been used a few times since then as we now cut the lawns with a larger golf-course style machine. It starts and runs really nicely, but it would benefit from: 1)A service. It s hardly been used since 2012, but it could do with a service nonetheless.2)New belts. Current belts are fine, and aren t really worn, but slip at times as they are few years old. 3)The bonnet-bracket hinge-welds are weak. It is all holding together okay, but would benefit fem some spot welds or bolts to increase the strength.4)There are a few spots where the paint is chipped. This should be repaired to avoid rust. 5)The height adjustment lever for the roller on the grass collector unit is bent out of shape. I haven t bent it back as it works just as well the shape it is! Cash on collection, sold as seen. Will need own transport such as trailer as the unit is quite long with the powered grass collector installed.
