The Westwood machines use a sweeper system so the grass is cut by the deck and then dropped on the lawn the sweeper the sweeps up the cutting and throws them into the collector, this system will never block or clog up even when the clippings are damp, most of the other machines throw the clipping into the collector with the power of the blades causing air flow but if the grass wet it sticks to the tube and clogs up.
